On Writing

I do not write it down to remember later, I write it down to understand now.
Sometimes the reason why you need to write your own notes is because it is your actual mental model which will have the tendencies to stick longer in your head, documentation site information structure (like API documentation, or language API documentation) usually is not your mental model, it is comperhensive model which contain everything, your mind cannot contain everything, so its create the most effective memory to remember something.
